For the second page, you have to look way down at the bottom to continue the article. There are interviews here, man. This is the kind of stuff kids today in their 20's can only dream of.

This damn thing is wonderful and is driving me nuts. Good old quality punk rock.

It's on Alternative Tentacles. They made this music in 1983 or 4 or whatever. They were from Oakland, California. Just buy the damn thing. I'm at a loss for words. Listen to the clips on this page.

Ha! You thought Minor Threat were good? We're not in Kansas anymore. Throw some Flamin' Groovies into your rock and roll, man. And a little PIL while we're at it.

I bet some of the mods would like this music. Though they might not tell anyone.

Sad Lovers & Giants - Feeding The Flame (1983)

I'm going to refrain from posting this record here. You can get it on iTunes for a reasonable price even if you can't get it on CD. I want to kill myself that I no longer have it on vinyl, but I guess I can fix that. Remember that record I posted earlier by Fra Lippo Lippi? This is like three times better than that, but still not as good as Joy Division. You dig?

The Thought - The Thought LP, 1982

I bought this LP about 4 years ago and liked it at the time, but haven't played it since and I'm rather stunned at what I hear now. Fans of The Sound should hear this. Synthesizers are here, too. Good old fashioned gloomy, doomy, weird post punk. I love it. And I am going to get that other record of theirs soon that appeared on a major label because I can just about see the sleeve in my mind from seeing it in record stores way back when.

This record I link to here sortof sounds like Wire at times - "Atlanta Threat"...there's something about the guitar on that that reminds me of Sad Lovers & Giants too! There's a specific song I'm thinking of by SLAG right now from "Feeding The Flame"...(god that album kills me - talk about Goth)

The Thought were a Dutch band. That's about all I know about them.

I would be interested to know what other folks think of this record.

Also, I acknowledge the flaws in the sleeve here as I have posted it but I couldn't get around those flaws. If I'd tried to fix them it would have forced me to leave out other cool things about the sleeve, so I didn't touch it.
