Simple Minds gig 1984

I found a Simple Minds gig from 1984 that is better than heroin. It's a New Jersey gig from 27th of May. I believe it was broadcast on the radio. I don't usually get excited about gigs but this is something else, the whole thing. Check it out here.

post it anonymously in the comments, as though someone else saw your post and decided to save you the trouble!

... although now everyone will see through your plan ...

Do it! I loved Simple Minds when I was a schoolkid - particularly the Sons & Fascination era - then decided they weren't cool & banished them to The Shed (long story!) for years. "Rediscovered" them a year or two back & am now OUT & proud, re: Kerr worship. Within reason anyway (i.e. am still not too keen on the sub-Bono years). IBx

Working on it...

If I go to jail, let it be for posting what could quite possibly the best gig I've ever heard in my life.

They knew exactly how to play their instruments in time with each other. It totally shreds their records. Just throw their records out the window, you won't need them.

Anyway, like I said, I'm working on it. Thanks for your patience.

Bimble, you can't dangle this carrot in our face. If it's a good as you say it is then, my good man, post it.

This is Simple Minds we're talk'n 'bout here. MUST-HEAR-THEN-NOW!
