A Certain Ratio - "Guess Who", 1982
I'm a huge fan of A Certain Ratio. The song I'm linking to here has been right under my nose for the last 20 years or so. I can't believe how amazing it is and how in the hell it slipped by me all this time. Really weird. We're talking FUNK here, the best of post-punk funk is right here. It's at the end of their "I'd Like To See You Again" album, which frankly is not one of my faves of theirs, but still better than Sextet.
