My soundcard for my computer broke, but when I bought a new one, it wouldn't let me hear my vinyl. I was devastated.
I'm ordering another one just like my old one, now, though. So hopefully I will back in business soon. I'm really sad to think I can't rip this 1981 Birmingham post punk bands compilation to my computer. A temporary problem, I hope.

Hey,
Thats one of the many problems with my computer, my sound card has a static-fuzziness to the sound output that i do not dare record albums or tapes cuz i'm concerned that will transfer to the recording.
Can't wait until i build my new kick ass system.

Hey, I hope you get up and running soon. I didn't get your last email so resend it when you get a chance. This weekend now looks sketchy for Budokan party but I have it and we'll get together soon. I played 2 songs the other day and it took every ounce of willpower to turn it off and wait for you, lol.
Good to hear from you folks! Richard, get a new computer. Adam, I'm so very sorry to hear about Budokan falling through. I was really looking forward to that :( Also sorry you had to feel like you had to wait for me. Just watch the thing if you want, we can watch it together later you know? Don't worry about it.
I got a new soundcard (same model as last time) and it seems to be working alright. Gonna post the Birmingham post-punk compilation this weekend for sure. I've already got the sleeve scanned and ready.
In about two months i should have all the parts, building it piecemeal.
My computer still functions but everything in it (hard and software) runs slow or when it wants to.

Oh, you may have heard already but Lux Interior of The Cramps died yesterday.
Saw them once i believe in the late '80s or eary '90s at the rock club the Channel before they closed their doors.
Seen many great shows there.

Yeah I heard about Lux Interior. I'm not sure how I feel about the Cramps, really. The only song I really remember by them is Goo Goo Muck. I never owned any of their records, but they're fun to hear once in awhile on the radio or in a bar or something.
